Lucent Technology (New York Stock Exchange: Lu) and Alcatel (Paris Stock Exchange: cgep. PA, New York Stock Exchange: ALA) announced the completion of the merger on November 30, 2006. The newly established company is Alcatel lucent, and it operates as the world's leading provider of communication solutions from December 1, 2006.
